SIGRAFINE® Fine Grain Graphites
Chemically and temperature resistant, long-term stable.
High resistance to chemicals makes SIGRAFINE fine-grain graphites the first choice in many dynamic sealing applications of the chemical and petrochemical industry. They cannot be dissolved or melted and are resistant to virtually all media such as bases and most acids. SGL Group offers fine-grain graphite with ideal properties for any pump and sealing application: die molded, isostatic, synthetic resin-bonded. Depending on the specific application, the base materials used are either graphite or carbon graphite, which also come with special impregnations such as antimony, bronze or synthetic resin.
SIGRAFINE dynamic sealing elements prove their outstanding properties particularly well under extreme conditions. They make a major contribution to process reliability thanks to their great resistance to high temperatures and thermal shock. SIGRAFINE die-molded materials exhibit also exceptional properties when it comes to wear and boast impressive thermal conductivity. In fact, SIGRAFINE is many times more conductive to heat than its surrounding components and prevents systems from overheating and increased wear from shortening the normally long service life of our components.
SPETECH supplies following SIGRAFINE grades: EK20, EK24, EK40, EK60, EK305, EK2200, EK2240, EK3205, EK3245.
