GRAFMET^® 960, GRAFMET^® 962

The gaskets for the high and medium pressure self-sealing bonnets, Grafmet 960 is equipped with internal metal reinforcement protecting the ring from extrusion into the gaps; in case of large gaps or exposure to high pressure Grafmet 962 is recommended due to its metal caps which protect the gasket from being extruded into the gaps larger than 1,5 mm and perform anti-oxidization function when the graphite is exposed to temperatures above 450 C, the rings can have trapezoidal, rectangular or square cross-sections; in case of large diameters of the rings, the metal caps can be machined.
